  1. Rowland Binns wrote several articles in early editions of Narrow Lines (Journal of the 7mm Narrow Gauge Association) describing the development of his 14mm gauge Penmachno layout. Of particular relevance would be:
“A chassis for the Hunslet” (NL27) on scratchbuilding a chassis with correct outside-frames and split-axle pickup, for the Peco Hunslet kit.
“Stub Points” (NL31) scratchbuilding working stub-points
    “Scratchbuilding Slate Wagons” (NL39)
“Penmachno, evolution of a layout” (NL105) was a feature on the completed layout. (with photos by me)
All articles are available to members, from the 7mmNGA Archives Officer

  2. Another Rowland Binns article was “A tender for Pixie” (in Narrow Lines No.72) Describing adding a tender and modified pickups to a Roy Link Bagnall kit.

  3. O14 article by Richard Slate entitled Water Ridge Depot on Narrow Lines 173, October-November 2008, 7mmNGA.
